Venue and arrival information
EcotoxicoMic 2017 will start on Tuesday, 21 November at 1:20pm.
The welcome desk will open at 11:30 a.m. You will be able to take your badge and conference book there.If you are presenting a poster communication, instructions to install it will be given there.
Please note that NO lunch will be provided on Tuesday (as well as on Friday). Various kinds of restaurants are available in the immediate vicinity of the Conference Center.
Access by public transport (Informations: TCL; Bus Line C1, C4, C5 stop: Musée d'art contemporain, from there signs will lead you to the conference room. )
- From railway stations
- Part-Dieu: Direct bus line C1, stop Musée d'art contemporain.
- Perrache: Subway line A as far as Cordeliers station, and connection by bus line C5, stop Musée d'art contemporain.
- From the airport
- Saint-Exupéry: Shuttle service as far as Part-Dieu railway station and connection by bus line C1, stop Musée d'art contemporain
Oral communications
Presentations scheduled on Tuesday should be uploaded upon the arrival of the presenters.
Oral communications will be maximum 15 minutes (+ 5 minutes for questions). No overtiming will be allowed.
All presenters will be invited to upload a copy of their presentations at the Welcome Desk, at least two hours prior to the session.
Posters and Poster Corners
Information and materials to hang posters will be provided at the Welcome Desk on Tuesday 21st.
We will manage the set-up of each Poster-Corner session by moving and replacing posters before and after the session.
Poster corners will be held on:
- Wednesday, November 22, from 11:40 to 12:20 a.m. (Topics: "Ecotoxicological effects on N cycle"; "Genomic approaches in microbial ecotoxicology "; "Bioremediation")
- Thursday, November 23, from 11:40 to 12:20 a.m. (Topics: "Omics approaches in microbial ecotoxicology"; "Innovative microbial biomarkers and bioassays for environmental risk assessment")
Selected authors will present their posters for 3 min and will have some time to interact with the audience.
Student Poster Prize
Three students will be awarded a Student Poster Prize.
The author of the BEST student poster will also receive one printed copy of the Springer Book "Microbial Ecotoxicology".
The prize committee will evaluate Student Posters based on several criteria including the student’s ability to present the work and to answer questions, the poster design and the scientific quality of the poster.
Any student willing to participate to the contest will be asked to attach a Poster Prize label (which will be provided at the Welcome Desk) to their poster.
